1992 television film written by Peter Richardson and Pete Richens, directed by Peter Richardson, and part of The Comic Strip Presents series of programmes. Originally broadcast on 24 December 1992. Jed, a New York cop, brings home the last Christmas turkey in the shop for his wife Sue. Unfortunately they make a dramatic discovery whilst stuffing it – namely that it is not dead. The turkey comes round just in time to fight back against having its head chopped off and having an onion and three pounds of chestnuts stuffed up its behind. It grabs Jed’s gun and holds the couple hostage. After some hairy incidents when it’s crime is almost discovered, a plan is hatched for the bird to escape to Turkeyland before it’s discovered and meets the same fate as all of its cousins that Christmas.

Kate contributed the song Home For Christmas for this episode, played during the end credits.
