Neil Sidwell – brother of Steve Sidwell – studied composition, orchestration, piano, bass guitar and trombone at the London College of Music and the Los Angeles jazz workshop.

He has toured the world and recorded with many famous artists such as The Who, George Michael, Blur, Robbie Williams, Wham, Elton John, Wet Wet Wet, Curiosity Killed The Cat, Tom Jones, Ian Dury, Incognito, The Three Degrees, Carmel, Bruce Willis Blues Band and the Duke Ellington Orchestra. Neil also wrote many of the arrangements including the Quadrophenia score for Pete Townsend and The Who.

He played the trombone on Kate’s songs Rubberband Girl, Constellation Of The Heart, Eat The Music, and Why Should I Love You?

He is currently music producer, composer and musical director for numerous television shows including award winning ITV1 series Ant And Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. He is also a music orchestrator/arranger for many other TV shows including The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and American Idol.
