Sergeant Thunderhoof is a psychedelic stoner metal/doom metal band from Bath, Somerset (United Kingdom). The band consists of Dan Flitcroft, Darren Ashman, Jim Camp and Mark Sayer.
It is unknown when they officially formed, but it was sometime before 2014. Their lyrical content consists of science fiction, mushrooms, and spirituality.
In 2015 they released their debut album Ride Of The Hoof. It was followed by the albums Zigurat (2015), Live on Earth (2016), Terra Solus (2018), Delicate Sound of Thunderhoof (2020).
In 2020 they released a metal cover of Cloudbusting on a limited edition 12″ single coupled with a cover version of Sat In Your Lap by Tony Reed.
