Singer/songwriter from Galway, Ireland. He debuted in 2003 with the album Dirty Day, a collection of self-penned songs. His second album Downtown Exit was slightly more mainstream, with an excellent mix of light rock, latin spirit, and unique lyrics. The album featured a cover version of Wuthering Heights, which became his most wellknown work, although he continued to produce his own material.

A couple of live albums followed: A Night In Dublin (2006) and Live At The Paradiso, Amsterdam (2008). After The Hungry Ghost (2009) Albert released another live album, Albert Niland (2011), which featured a live version of ‘Wuthering Heights’. His most recent release is Old Soul Spirit, released in 2018.
