The German duo Mario Sixtus and Wolfgang Kremer formed Tilt! at the end of the 1980’s. Their first album ‘Aliens & Orgasms’ was released in 1990. It featured a cover version of Running Up That Hill, which was also released as a single.
The second album was ‘The Next Degeneration (Unreleased Soundtracks For Unreleased Movies)’ (1993) and in 1995 it was followed by ‘I Put A Smell On You (Trivial Songs For Trivial Moments)’. By the turn of the century, Tilt! had disbanded.
