Formed in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada) by Elliott Gwynne, Michael Boyd, Nabi Sue Bersche & Tyler Bersche, Ellevator released their self-titled debut EP in 2018. With five tracks, the band presented themselves with five self-written songs. In the summer of the same year, they performed a cover version of Running Up That Hill for the website The Verge.
