Older brother of Mike Barson, who played keyboards with Madness, Ben actually played with Clive Langer & The Boxes (featuring Suggs’ wife on vocals) in 1979 and 1980. He went on to play keyboards for Kate Bush during the Tour Of Life, and subsequently worked with artists like Nick Lowe, Gabrielle and Garland Jeffreys.
