Tristan has been a fan of Kate Bush for as long as he can remember. As a non-professional musician, after many years slacking off on the violin at the conservatory and playing in classical orchestras in France and Québec, he has been a member of several bands: alternative rock Gwen Mezcal, post-punk Peterhöff, Celtic rock Transpher, Irish trad Scoil, and now Celtic trad Puffin. This included accompanying pianist Anne Queffélec, playing in Lorient during the Interceltic Festival, and opening for Breton legends Tri Yann during their 40th anniversary tour.

Tristan also makes solo music, which mostly consists of folk songs from around the world. He has explored many instruments, genres and languages, but always revolves around Celtic.

In 2020 he contributed his version of Joanni to I Wanna Be Kate: The Songs Of Kate Bush – Remastered & Expanded. A year later, he released the album Tríd an bhForaois (Through the Forest) digitally through Bandcamp.
