ADSR was started by Dominic Paterson and Todd Nickolas, a DJ/producer duo from Canada. In 1993 they released their debut album Accelerated Emotions, featuring the track Momentum, which included a sample of Kate Bush’s Jig Of Life. They released a second album, Primary, in 1994.
After a long break, ADSR resurfaced in 2011 with a track called ‘Force Of One’, this time without Dominic Paterson. Nickolas continued on his own, releasing the album Passive Articulation in 2023.
